Shawnee Smith, born July 3, 1970, and weighing 5'3 is an American actor and singer. Smith's most well-known roles include in the roles of Amanda Young and Linda on the CBS sitcom Becker. Smith was a member of the metal group Fydolla ho, with whom they toured her native United States and United Kingdom. Smith is also a part of Smith & Pyle, a country-rock band that was formed with Missi Pyle. Shawnee Smith was born in Orangeburg South Carolina the second daughter of Patricia who is an oncology doctor and Jim Smith a financial planner and former US Air Force pilot. The Smith family relocated out of South Carolina to Van Nuys California as an infant. Her parents divorced when she was 2 and her mom remarried when she was eight. The school she attended was Ranchito Avenue Elementary School in Panorama City Los Angeles and Madison Jr. High in North Hollywood. She won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2019 for Outstanding Original Music & Lyrics together with her songwriting team Jack Dolgen & the late Adam Schlesinger. Rachel will tour with Death Let Me Do My Special for the spring/summer of 2020. Rachel's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Tour sold out Radio City Music Hall as an event in a series of shows 2019. That same year, she was in her own show called What Am I going to do Now? This included a seven-day residency in the venue Just For Laughs.
