Shawnee Smith is an American actor, singer and musician. She was born on July 3, 1970, and weighs 5'3". Smith's most famous roles are as Amanda Young and Linda on the CBS sitcom Becker. Smith was once the frontwoman of Fydolla which was a rock group who toured across the US and in the UK. Smith is now half of Smith & Pyle which is a country desert rock band along together with Missi Pyle. Shawnee Smith is the daughter of Jim Smith, a former US Air Force Pilot and financial planner, who also worked as an oncology nurse. Her birthplace was Orangeburg South Carolina. Smith's family moved to South Carolina to Van Nuys California at the age of a year old her parents divorced when she was two and her mother was married again at the age of eight. That same year, she was also featured in her very own solo tour titled What am I going to do with my Life Now. This tour featured a one-week stay in the venue Just For Laughs.
